BTW....I was not sitting there posing for the camera. It was more like a TAKE THIS THING OFF ME look :o(
OH YEAH, and the big NEWS of the weekend...this was NOT A GOOD THING :o( My daddies cousin brought his German Shepard to a BBQ we went to on Saturday. He was kept far away because he's a big dog and only speaks German but after a while they let him walk around. He was nice to me at first and gentle....PHEW....but all of a sudden he stands over me and PEES on me :o( I was not happy and neither were my parents. I had on my new "Chick Magnet" shirt. We went home after that. How rude!
and here I am today....handsome aren't I?
He is a pure bred Chihuahua. I believe his mom weighed about 6lbs and the dad about 4-5lbs so this little guy shouldn't be much bigger than that. Although I am not holding my breath on that since Patch was suppose to be smaller than 6 lbs and now he is at almost 9 lbs. Patch is going through phases of being nice and wanting to play and phases of being mean and pouncing on him and not sharing his toys. I think in a few weeks they will get a long just fine and be best buddies. Buster LOVES Patch and just wants to follow him around, cuddle him and play. It is super cute. When Patch gets better he'll tell you all about it.
Here they are playing with thier bones but as you can see Patch is close to him but not too close. YES, they have matching shirts on :o)
Onto the peek-a-boo story. As you already know I get silly in my play pen when I'm bored. A couple of weeks ago I decided to turn my bed upside down and lay on it. Last week I decided that I would lay under it. I figured if I hid then my mommies would get worried about me and come to my rescue. Well that didn't work, instead they got a good laugh out of it and it prompted a picture taking session *SIGH*
I also like to hide in the morning. My mommy usually gets up and takes me out of the crate so I can go potty then she puts me on her bed and allows me to lay there until she has to go to work. My routine is to hide underneath the covers. I am hoping one day she'll forget I'm under there and I can stay in bed all day :o) so far that hasn't worked. Here is a pic she took of me one day while I was being lazy and didn't want to come out.
In a few weeks I should be receiving my Doggy Driver's License :o) and here is the picture that will be going on it. I am so hansome aren't I?
Well, hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm sure I'll have some more fun pictures and stories to share next week. On Sunday I get to go with all 3 of my parents to San Francisco and watch their friends in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and then at noon we get to go to Chihuahua Cha Cha I can't wait. I've heard it's a lot of fun and I'll get to meet and play with new friends.
So off we went in the car with me in the new car seat. Of course I barked the whole way too Oakland, only cause I'm spoiled but I think I'll get used to it. We picked up daddy and headed to Alameda. Mommy and Daddy were hungry so they figured they'd have a picnic at the park while I played. Little did they know that was a bad idea. We arrived at the Alameda Park and it wasn't pretty like the one in Dublin but there were little dogs there and it looked like it might be fun. IT WASN'T. We walked in and there were some icky yucky aggresive dogs there. The place was gross and there was poop everywhere that other dog parents hadn't picked up. I'm spoiled and if you know my mom then you know she's super clean and neat. She didn't like this place but she figured we were here and I should play for a bit. Mommy and daddy tried to eat but all the icky dogs begged for their food, one dog even jumped on the table. Actually two dogs jumped on the table so they had to put their food away. I strolled off to check out the grounds and all of a sudden some dog comes after me and latches on to my neck...OUCHIE....and tries to throw me around. That didn't go over very well with my mommy so she kicked him (lightly) and picked me up. I had doggie drool all over my new shirt and my back. It was time to go. We are never going back there again. I know the Dublin Park is new but geesh this place was GROSS. We then headed off to the beach in Alameda where we just walked for a bit, my daddy finished his sandwich while I played in the sand and then we watched the kite surfers. Well my mommy and daddy watched the surfers while I ate grass. Later on our way home I decided to throw up a big chunck of grass in the car on my daddy's sweater....OOPS. Hey at least I didn't get my new car seat dirty. I would have been in BIG trouble. I was dirty from the dog park and stunk from the icky slobber on me so we went home and gave me a bath, I smelled pretty and was all soft after my bath. It was a long day so I took a nap in the bed with Pooh Bear.
For some reason pics don't want to upload so I'll try again tomorrow because there are some silly one of me from the weekend.
But then there is also the cute, adorable, mellow, loving side of me. I like to cuddle up in my bed under my blankie and relax.
