Here I am

WOW, I can't believe I haven't written since March, I'm such a slacker. Actually, the truth is I lost my computer privileges a while back because I spent to much on the computer but now I have them back.


Quite a bit has happened since I last wrote, the last 6 months have been busy.

In April my mommy and daddy went to Maui on vacation and got married. I was so excited for them but it also meant that we had to move and I wouldn't see my other mommy everyday. That made me sad.


In May, we moved. We now live in Oakland in a nice 2bedroom condo and I really like it. I have adjusted very well and although I don' see my mommy #2 everyday I do see her often so that's good. I've always hated using the pee pads and the darn doggie litter box so my parents decided that it was time to starting going potty outside. I did very well and from day one in our new place I have a daily walk schedule and I potty outside. My parents are proud of me for catching on so quick and besides I LOVE going outside. I love that our new place has a nice big porch also and I go lay out in the sun, I love sunbathing. I'm not enjoying this cold & rainy weather because I can't lay out :o(

June and July we spent adjusting to our new home and getting settled and then once we were settled and August came, we got a new puppy.......WHHUUUUTTT???

I had been spending a lot of time alone in the evenings because of my mommy & daddy's training schedule and they were feeling pretty bad about it so they went back and forth on the idea of a new puppy. My mommy though remembers to well the days of my puppyhood and it wasn't so much fun, it's a lot of work, so she wasn't sure if she really wanted to do it again. We also had a new place and she didn't want a new puppy going potty on the new carpet. Anyway, they finally decided to out and fine one and one day after one of their runs they came home with Daisy, my new little sister.

Daisy is a tiny little thing and is a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. We think that she will stay little because now at 7 months old she is still only weighing 4.8 lbs. I on the other hand was almost hitting the 20 lb mark but I've managed to lose some weight. I love me some treats though :O)

I love my sister but for the sake of attention I pretend I don't. I know I'm a bad puppy but I LOVE all the attention being on me so sometimes I pretend to now want to have anything to do with her. It does the trick and sometimes mommy fells bad that Daisy is getting all the attention so then I get cuddled and spoiled :o)


I do love Daisy and I love having another doggie to play with. Things have worked out great and I think she knows I'M IN CHARGE and I love that.


In November I celebrated my 2nd birthday, I can't believe I'm already 2 years old. My mommy ordered a cake and we had a nice birthday party at Pt. Isabel with the yummy cake and then a nice walk afterwards. I think 6 doggies came to my party.




The one thing I do love about living in Oakland is now we are really close to Pt. Isabel so my mommy tries to take us every 2 weeks for a nice long walk and a bath. Sometimes we'll meet my friends Domino or Riley there. We have a good time just walking around the park with no leashes on.

Now it's December and we are gearing up for the holidays. We had our pictures taken last weekend and I hated it. Santa couldn't figure out how to hold Daisy and me correctly and it was all set up outside so it was freezing cold. I'm so glad that is over. Keep an eye out in your mail for our family holiday card. It turned out nice.

Well, that's what I've been up to. I'm gonna go have my peanut butter now.

I escaped

So this weekend I escaped from my condo that my mommy leaves me in at my daddy's house. I love my condo but I just didn't feel like being home alone so as soon as the walked out the door I escaped. I've got a technique down. I take my paws and scratch at the little part where the zippers come together and when there is a small opening I stick my paw in it, once I've got it open a little bigger then I stick my nose and then my whole head and VOILA!!! I'm out. I was a good boy though and didn't destroy anything in the house. I just got out and snoozed til my parents came home. They didn't find it very funny though that I was out.

Back in School

Well, I am back in school. Things didn't go so well the firs time. People were really flaky at the first school and my mommy got so frustrated she asked for her money back. This time we are going to a well known and recommended school and I think things will go much smoother. Last week we learned sit, lay and stand. I already knew those and I am a pro :o) I can even do them all with just hand signals and my mommy doens't actually have to say Sit, Lay, Stand. My classes are for the next 6 weeks on Thursday nights.

This coming weekend I get to dress up in my new jacket and take family christmas pictures. I can't wait. Okay, it'll be fun to take pictures but again...WHY do I have to dress up. I not only have a new jacket but I also have a red sweater with a candy cane that I have to wear *sigh* I hear if they turn out good they'll be our christmas cards.

Not Happy

Why do humans think it's SOO CUTE to dress us doggies up in costumes? I am not impressed at or happy about the fact that I am going to have to wear a pumpkin constume for halloween. Orginally my mommy #1 bought me a shirt in a plaid color with an icky skull on it to wear. She figured that since I like wearing my shirts this was enough for me and it was still cute and in the halloween spirit. WELL that didn't last long. On Tuesday she went out and bought me a costume. I hate it. I only tried it on for a few minutes but I hated it.

BTW....I was not sitting there posing for the camera. It was more like a TAKE THIS THING OFF ME look :o(

Sun

I love the sun and I love laying under a nice patch of sun when it comes through the living room window. The only problem is that there aren't many places it comes through. On Saturday, I found a nice little spot though by the window and I layed in it....it also meant I had to lay on my pee pad.

Bath Time

Well, I can't avoid it any longer :o( I am being taken to get a professional bath not because my mommy can't bath me but because they will also cut my nails. I hate having my nails cut and won't allow my mommy to do it so she's taking me to a groomers and they'll have to deal with my crazy spats and biting. I am not happy although I did get to go to my mommy's work today which is nice. I'll be here all day and my appt is at 1pm. I'll be nice and pretty for the weekend. I think next week I get to go see my chihuahua friends at the dog park. I can't wait, I miss them lots.
