Bring Your Pet to Work Day
Take Your Dog To Work Day®: June 23, 2006
Celebrate! Make a Difference.
Every dog has its day. And if you are looking for the perfect way to celebrate your pooch while positively impacting the lives of homeless dogs everywhere, you definitely want to be a part of Pet Sitters International’s Take Your Dog To Work Day®.
What is TYDTWDay? It’s simple. On Friday, June 23, 2006, pet sitters, animal shelters and businesses of all sizes will come together to recognize the great companions dogs make. PSI, along with Modern Dog magazine and others, will join pet lovers around the world to celebrate man’s—and woman’s—best friend.
This annual event, now in its eighth year, brings people and pets together in a special way on a special day. Dogs go to work. Hearts are touched. And as a result, homeless dogs will be adopted. PSI’s Take Your Dog To Work Day is the day for dogs.

Update by Patch's Mommy #1
and now for some more news...hee, hee.
Patch now has a baby brother. On Saturday we went and picked up the most adorable little guy, his name is Buster.
He is a pure bred Chihuahua. I believe his mom weighed about 6lbs and the dad about 4-5lbs so this little guy shouldn't be much bigger than that. Although I am not holding my breath on that since Patch was suppose to be smaller than 6 lbs and now he is at almost 9 lbs. Patch is going through phases of being nice and wanting to play and phases of being mean and pouncing on him and not sharing his toys. I think in a few weeks they will get a long just fine and be best buddies. Buster LOVES Patch and just wants to follow him around, cuddle him and play. It is super cute. When Patch gets better he'll tell you all about it.
Here they are playing with thier bones but as you can see Patch is close to him but not too close. YES, they have matching shirts on :o)

OUCHIE
This weekend I get to go to my chihuahua meetup group in Dublin. It's my favorite of all the groups. I can't wait to see everyone. Since I'm having surgery it'll be the last play date I have for a few weeks.
I can't wait til my mommy gets home. She bought me a new shirt today, actually it's a West Coast ChoMper tank top :o) woohoo. I will post a picture tomorrow.
Here is a picture of me in my other cool shirt that mommy #2 bought me. Did I mention how spoiled I am?

Peek-a-boo
Onto the peek-a-boo story. As you already know I get silly in my play pen when I'm bored. A couple of weeks ago I decided to turn my bed upside down and lay on it. Last week I decided that I would lay under it. I figured if I hid then my mommies would get worried about me and come to my rescue. Well that didn't work, instead they got a good laugh out of it and it prompted a picture taking session *SIGH*
I also like to hide in the morning. My mommy usually gets up and takes me out of the crate so I can go potty then she puts me on her bed and allows me to lay there until she has to go to work. My routine is to hide underneath the covers. I am hoping one day she'll forget I'm under there and I can stay in bed all day :o) so far that hasn't worked. Here is a pic she took of me one day while I was being lazy and didn't want to come out.
In a few weeks I should be receiving my Doggy Driver's License :o) and here is the picture that will be going on it. I am so hansome aren't I?
Well, hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm sure I'll have some more fun pictures and stories to share next week. On Sunday I get to go with all 3 of my parents to San Francisco and watch their friends in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and then at noon we get to go to Chihuahua Cha Cha I can't wait. I've heard it's a lot of fun and I'll get to meet and play with new friends.
